Steel Can Recycling Council – Local Government Challenge 2005


The Steel Can Recycling Council issued a challenge to all councils across Australia who offer their residents steel can recycling – “show us an increase in the amount of steel cans being collected for recycling and you and a colleague could win an overseas study trip worth over $10,000” All entries were impressive but leading the pack were:

The Steel Can Recycling Council would like to congratulate these councils for their outstanding waste education and residential collection programs that have contributed to significant increases in steel can recycling.
